When/if you cause traffic accident, please perform listed four by all means.

- Report to the police
- Check the contact address
- Report to the office
Please require the certificate of accident, after reporting to the police.
If you make an out-of-court settlement without consent of ORIX Rent-A-Car, insurance coverage and CDW shall not be provided.
It is mandatory for you to report the accident to the police and the rental office, at the site of the accident, regardless of whether or not it is serious, whether or not a third party is involved in it, or who is at fault.
Contract of rental car will be finished at the time of accident happens. And we will claim the rental fee.
Adjustment after traffic accident
It will apply as part of the compensation for loss of use which will arise out of non-usability of the rented vehicle during the repairing or cleaning period in the following cases and if Nippon Rent-A-Car is not responsible for those: "Traffic accident"; "Theft"; "Broken down"; "Stains", etc. This charges will be the same regardless of the degree of the damage and the time required for repair.

In the case of 2, furthermore, we will demand the charge of towing rental car.
You shall bear the cost of the certificate of accident (1,000 yen).
You shall bear the cost of flat tires, damage to the tires and/or loss of hubcap.
